چکیده
Abstract Multiple epiphyseal dysplasia is a condition that courses with retarded development and may cause joint dysmorphia. We report case of posterior interosseous nerve palsy in child dysplasia. After physical examination complementary diagnostic tests revealed compression neuropathy, surgical neurolysis og the was performed at level arcade Frohse. The satisfactory evolution patient confirmed our diagnosis. Attention must be paid to onset signs or symptoms these patients.

Posterior interosseous nerve palsy in rheumatoid arthritis.
Bilateral posterior interosseous nerve palsy in a rheumatoid patient is described. Six previous case reports and our experience indicate that steroid injection into the elbow may not produce lasting recovery and may lead to unacceptable delay before surgical decompression. An anterolateral approach for division of the arcade of Frohse is effective in cases with diffuse synovitis; where there is...
متن کاملPosterior interosseous nerve palsy caused by lipoma: A case report.
Lipomas are benign soft tissue neoplasms that occur commonly in subcutaneous tissue. In rare instances they can occur in deeper planes. When occurring in the proximal forearm they can compress the posterior interosseous branch of the radial nerve resulting in an insidious onset of weakness of digital extensor muscles. A case of posterior interosseous nerve palsy from lipoma in a 58-year-old man...
متن کاملAnterior Interosseous Nerve Palsy.
Unexplained paralysis of the muscles supplied by the anterior interosseous nerve of the forearm was recorded by Parsonage and Turner (1948), Kiloh and Nevin (1952) and Thomas (1962). In none of the patients they described was the affected nerve explored. Spontaneous recovery occurred in all, but it was long delayed and incomplete. We record here a case of “ isolated neuritis ofthe anterior inte...
متن کاملNeuralgic Amyotrophy Manifesting as Mimicking Posterior Interosseous Nerve Palsy
The upper trunk of the brachial plexus is the most common area affected by neuralgic amyotrophy (NA), and paresis of the shoulder girdle muscle is the most prevalent manifestation. Posterior interosseous nerve palsy is a rare presentation in patients with NA. It results in dropped finger on the affected side and may be misdiagnosed as entrapment syndrome or compressive neuropathy. We report an ...
متن کاملInterosseous transfer of tibialis posterior for common peroneal nerve palsy.
The interosseous route remains popular for tibialis posterior tendon transfer for drop-foot. It leaves a smaller range of movement than the circumtibial route, but lengthening the calcaneal tendon may improve this. The results of this present series indicate that, in order to predict a good functional result, the ankle must be held in at least 20 degrees of dorsiflexion at the time of tendon tr...
